Sustainability

From sourcing our timber to the way we manufacture, assemble and deliver our products, we are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint.

Responsibly sourced timber

All our wood comes from Scandinavian forests managed with respect for nature and long-term regeneration. We only work with suppliers that follow strict local forestry regulations and replanting practices, ensuring that every cubic meter of timber is replaced by new growth.

Natural and biodegradable materials

Wood is one of the most sustainable materials available.
Our products are made entirely from natural timber – renewable, recyclable and biodegradable. They provide a robust alternative to plastic and composite packaging, helping our customers reduce their use of nonrenewable materials.

Low-waste production

Offcuts and wood chips are reused for heating or further processing, reducing waste and lowering energy consumption.

Automation and precise cutting techniques allow us to produce more with less – ensuring consistent quality with minimal material loss.

Continuous improvement

We are constantly reviewing our production processes to find new ways to save resources, improve logistics and extend the lifecycle of our products.

By focusing on smart design, efficient manufacturing and renewable materials, JOWO aims to support a more sustainable future for agriculture and industry.
